March Favourite’s

Gosh! This month has flown by! I cannot believe how quick its gone. I apologies there wasn’t a monthly favourite last month, by the time i went to write one it was the middle of March! Anyway, onto this months favourite’s.

The thing that stood out most this month was stickers!! I have a few stickers in this months favourites. Due to moving down to personal size this month i have been playing with new stickers and finding my feet when it comes to planning in a personal size Filofax.

The first set of stickers are some diary stickers from China. I love these stickers. They have loads on a sheet and they come with 6 sheets for 99p which is an amazing deal. I use these stickers on every spread in my planner because the stickers on the sheets link to my everyday life or can be used to signify something. I have two different sets of these stickers. The first set is the cat characters and the second is the pic characters.

The next set of stickers that i have been loving this month are from StickerSisterCo on Etsy. If you have read my last few blog posts, you will know that i have mentioned StickerSisterCo a few times. I honestly love their stickers. I have done a whole review on StickerSistersCo so if you would like to see that click HERE.

The final Etsy shop that i have been loving this month is HandCraftedBySheree. I have been using these stickers for a while now however this month they have really stood out. I have loved using the small list flag on my layouts this month because it is the perfect size for a personal sized planner. I also love using Sheree’s happy mail stickers. They are so cute and also the perfect size for a personal sized planner.

Seeing as that is the last of the stickers lets move onto washi tapes!!! This year for Easter the washi bunny came 😉 My mum surprised me with a set of lovely Easter Themed paper tape and i have been using them on my weekly spreads ever since i got them! I love how colourful they are and how they just complete my spreads. I have attached a picture of this weeks spread with one of the washi tapes on it and i just love it.

The last section of this months favourites is planners and Filofax’s! As you will know i brought a couple of new planners this month and i have absolutely loved them!

The first Filofax that i will mention is the Filofax Personal Finsbury. This planner is gorgeous. The texture of the leather is so smooth and so nice to the touch, and the colour is so rich and lovely! I have always wanted a Finsbury however i could never justify the price, so when i received one in a swap I couldn’t believe it.

Filofax Personal Finsbury

The second Filofax that i have been loving this month is my new Filofax Personal Blossom. I brought this planner a few weeks ago and i have been using it ever since. The print of this planner and the colours are beautiful. This is the first Filofax/planner that i have owned to have a print on it. I usually go for plain leather planners, however i couldn’t pass this one up.

The final planner that i am going to talk about, and my last favourite of this month is my A5 Yellow Kikki K planner. Since moving down to a personal size for my every day planner, i decided to move up to an A5 size for my blogging planner. I brought this Kikki K shortly before moving into a personal size Filofax. This planner was just sitting on my shelve and i hated the feeling that i had wasted my money because i just wasn’t using this planner. Then one day i was trying to plan in my personal sized blog planner and i was getting really annoyed with my month on one page inserts. They were just too small and i could not write anything on them. That’s when it hit me to move into my A5 Kikki K. Since moving into the Kikki K i have loved planning future blog posts because i actually have space to write them on my monthly inserts. I also find it easier to write things down because of the space you get on the A5 paper.

I hope you have liked this months favourite’s. I apologize that there wasn’t one uploaded for February. If you guys still like these blog posts then let me know and i will start writing down my Favorite for April!

I hope you have a lovely weekend!

November Favorites

I cannot believe its nearly the end of November! How crazy is that! Christmas in less then 30 days!!! I know a few of you liked my October favorites and wanted me to do more! So here we are, my November favorites 🙂

This month i have mainly planner supplies that i have loved using. But hey! Who doesn’t like planning supplies :p I have used most of these products for about a month now and i can generally say i love them all and going to buy some more! If anyone has any suggestions of products that they love and want me to try please comment bellow!

Right so onto this months favorites:

  • Sainsburrys washi tape £3: I went to sainsburrys at the end of October and i saw this washi. The glitter caught my eye and i fell in love. I’ve used it mostly on my penpal letters and i love how it layers up. 12305837_1251913034824427_564227344_n (1)
  • Brimbles box £18:  If you read my blog post at the beginning of the month you would have seen that i brought a Brimbles box. It was my first brimbles box and i loved it! It was the Christmas box so it had amazing christmassy goodies inside. My favourite from the box would have to be the Elf list pad! Its so adorable and functional! youtube tumbnail
  • L2e Planner stamps £5: I’m obsessed with stamps this month! I have wanted to use stamps for ages now, however the only stamps that i have come across is stamps from the US. I was on the Planner group and a lovely lady was selling some so i had to snap them up and try them. When they arrived i loved them so much. They were so functional and i actually use them every week! 12309265_1251913061491091_1742934549_n
  • Laminator £10: If you read my “what i got for my birthday” blog post then you will have seen that i got a laminator. This month i have used it so much to make christmassy/autumnal dash’s for my Filofax. I’ve made so many that i have enough to change every week haha! The laminator was from Wilko and it’s amazing for personal use! 12305638_1251913031491094_2029779466_n
  • Dashboards: Following off from my last favorite you know that i loved making dashboards this month. I have made so many and iv sent a few to my penpal Alycia! (Check out her blog). I love dashboards because they add Personalization to your planner as well as colour. There amazing to change out with the seasons instead of changing your planner! 12312216_1251913078157756_985648189_n12309355_1251913081491089_1500535265_n12305678_1251913091491088_2142733361_n
  • Gold Saffiano £25.70: If you read my last blog post you would have seen a review on my Gold Filofax Saffiano. I’m currently using the gold saffiano as my main planner and i’m loving it! The colour is so beautiful and it’s so shiny!! 12309034_1251913148157749_1437382452_n
  • Pocket gold organizer £1: Last week i went to a Christmas fate at my local church. During having a nose through the stalls i came across this gold pocket organizer with a price tag of £1!!! When i saw the price i had to pick it up. I’m not actually sure what im going to do with the planner but it looks beautiful on my shelve with the rest of my planners! 12306020_1251913141491083_346065391_n
  • Emoji sticky notes £2: I love emoji’s! I use them all the time when im on my phone, maybe even too much! When i was shopping in Primark with my friend Sophie i saw that they currently have a little stationery stand. When i approached it all the emoji things caught my eye! I have a look through and i picked up these Emoji sticky notes. I fell in love insistently! I loved how cute the sticky notes looked and how functional they are because it gives you a good space to write on them. I actually also picked up some emoji stickers that they had there, also £2. Altogether for the stickers and sticky notes it came to £4 which lovely Sophie actually brought for me bless her. 12278044_1251913074824423_514362928_n
  • Stamp ink £1.75: Because i brought stamps this month i have been on the look out out for good yet cheap stamp ink. During my Christmas shopping on eBay i came across DewDrop Memento dye ink. I loved the shape of the ink pads as they were small and looked perfect for my tiny planner stamps. When i brought them i was a little scared that the ink would bleed through my paper as that’s one thing you have to worry about when using stamps in your planner. However the stamp ink was amazing! It only shadows through the page a little bit and i love them! I brought 3 colour and they are so vibrant. There will be a blog post reviewing them that should be up in the next few weeks. ink
  • Fine liners £2: I have always wanted to try fine liners in my planner but i was so scared that the ink would bleed through my paper. However when i saw a pack in Wilko for £2 i thought i should just try them. I knew if i didn’t like them in my planner then they would be used in my college book for revising and coursework. When i actually used them i was so surprised. Fine liners are amazing to write in and they are so bright and colourful! I have used them ever since! 12312063_1251913041491093_967530582_n

I hope you liked this months favorites and made you want to try new products! Let me know if you want me to do a December favorites next month. I want to apologies for being MIA lately, college has been really stressful and i just haven’t had time to write a blog post. I have a few in the works that should come out next week. I do try and make sure there are 2 blog posts for you guys a week, normally Friday and Sundays. I hope you have a lovely weekend!

Monthly Favorites

October Favorites.

Is it only me that loves having a nose on other peoples blog’s and YouTube channels to see what they are using and loving every month? I love it as it opens my eyes to products that i haven’t seen before. Its not good to my bank balance wanting to try all new things but it’s exciting and 9/10 i absolutely love the products that i have tried.

I have been thinking for a while now if i wanted to start doing monthly favorites but i always decided not to without any real reason behind it, so i have decided to bite the bullet and give it a try. I’m not sure if i will do one every month or how long i will do it for but i am 100% going to give it a go.

This month i have mainly planner supplies that i have loved using. Due to it being my birthday on the 29th of this month i decided to hold off on craft bits due to i know i will be getting some for my birthday from my mum.

I have used most of these products for about a month now and i can generally say i love them all and going to buy some more! If anyone has any suggestions of products that they love and want me to try please comment bellow! 🙂

Right so onto my This months favorites:

thumbnail edit

Sprinkle washi tape and Mickey mouse washi tape: I was checking my ebay purchase list as i was checking delivery estimates when i saw that a seller that i brought some washi tape off before, was having a sale. I was having a snoop when i came across  the sprinkle washi. I feel in love with the colours in the tape and decided to buy it. Before i did i was having a look at the other washi tapes that the seller had for sell. This is when i came across the mickey washi tape. I’m a big lover or Disney. Growing up i had all the books and teddy’s of all the Disney characters. Anyway as soon as i say it i knew i had to buy it as well. I couldn’t get a good picture of the Mickey washi tape but it says Magic,Memories, Laugh with mickeys hand, shoes and Minnie’s bow.  Altogether both washi tapes cost £2.58 (£1.29 each).

Set of 5 washi tapes: This favorite was introduced to me by my penpal Alycia, from Sweetplanning101. She put a photo up on Instagram of a ebay haul which included the 5 washi tapes. I asked her about them and i couldn’t believe it that they were £1.99. She gave me a link to them and i checked them out. There from china which i didn’t really mind as i don’t mind waiting 30 days for that price. The only thing with this product is you can’y actually choose which washi tapes you receive. It’s like a blind box, you get sent 5 at random. I quite liked this because it was a surprise when they came but i know its not some peoples cup of tea. I recently brought another 5 and i did receive one washi tape that was the same but i didn’t mind as lucky it was one of my most favorites and i can always sell them if i receive more then one.

Tesco pouch: In the beginning of the year i saw on the planner groups that Tesco had come out with a pouch pencil case. I saw pictures of how everyone used it and there set up and i loved it! I really wanted one but unfortunately i haven’t got a large Tesco near me, just metro ones and they didn’t stock them. However a lovely lady from UK Planner Addicts was selling one and i managed to quickly snap it up. When it came it was even better then what i hoped for. I have space for my set of pens,a sharpie and scissors in the zip pocket, and plenty of space for sticky notes and stickers in the other 2 pockets. Its thin so its perfect for shoving in my bag with my Filofax when im out and about.

Christmas paperclips: If you saw my bog post from a few weeks ago then you would have seen the amazing Christmas paperclips from Donna. I have been setting up my Christmas planner this week and i love how they look in my planner. They will look amazing with my Gold Saffiano that i will be using during the Christmas time! I just cannot wait to use them all the time! Hurry up Christmas :p 2 Months to go!!! Hehe.

Handbag organiser: If you read my blog post from last Sunday then you would have seen how i organise my planner supplies on my desk using a handbag organiser from ebay. I just love how it has a place for everything and it also has handles so i can carry it around with me in the house depending on where i am going to plan. Its perfect for holding all my essentials and i know they are all in the same place so it is easier and quicker for me to plan. To see more information on the handbag organiser and how i am using it as a planner caddy/orgsaniser please click here to see the blog post.

Black Tassel Bag: I have been using a lot of bags recently and i just cannot find one that i really like or that is big enough to hold my Filofax and other bits that i need when out and about. That as all in till i was given this black tassel bag from a family friend. It’s the perfect size, it can hold my A5 Filofax, my Pennybridge Filofax, a pencil case, a bottle of drink and a sandwich. Im currently into handbags rather then shoulder bags which is a surprise as i have always preferred shoulder bags so im hands free.

Duck Tape: I never knew that you could get different colourd duck tape! I was in the range the other day and they had a massive stand and there was every colour in the rainbow there, even patterns! I was actually in the range looking for something to use to cover a binder that i found in the attic. I was looking for sticky back plastic but thought that duck tape would work better due to it being in strips rather then me having to cut it down. There will be a blog post soon about the D.I.Y folder that i have made to store my stickers in. I recently wrote a blog post about sticker organisation. To see this click here.

I hope you enjoyed this blog post, I know it’s a bit different. I’d love to hear your thoughts on it and if you would like me to carry on with these types of post. As i said it is just a trial at the moment. If anyone has any questions comment below!

I hope you have an amazing weekend!
