Oh how strange it feels to be writing a blog post again! I cannot believe how long it has been! So much has changed, in my personal life and in the way i plan! When i blogged i was using Filofax, weather this was a personal or an A5. I no longer use Ring bound planners and have actually sold them all. *Gasp* I know! Crazy huh!
As i mentioned a lot has changed in my personal life. I work 45 hours a week in a job that i love! This leaves me very tired and i just lost my spark for blogging. I have really missed it though and recently i have had this creative erge to start again!
In February of this year i brought an Erin Condren and i loved it! It was my dream planner and i used it non stop for 7 months. Then i hit a brick wall. I lost all creative spark what so ever. I didn’t plan for about a month and this made my life a night mare. I got lazy, forgot to do things, i was so unorganised. This is when i found out about Travellers Notebook. I fell in love instantly and have used one ever since. I will talk all about my currently planning style in my next blog post.
I am now rambling and think its best that i stop haha! I’m so happy that i am back and i hope you all are too! I’m not sure of when my uploads will go up. I am planning on writing a few blog posts today and will upload them as and when they are done! I don’t want to scare away my creative erge before i even get started!
Anyway goodbye for now! I would love to hear how you all are in the comments below or on my Instagram zoeplans!
If you are following me on Instagram then you will know that i brought a trolley from IKEA a few weeks ago to keep my planning supplies on. Since i started planning i have LOVED the idea of having a little trolley/unit to keep my supplies on so i could transport it. I feel in love with the teal Raskog trolley’s, however i could never spend near enough £50 for something just to hold my supplies so i was on the hunt to find something similar.
During my late night searches on Ikea i came across the BYGEL trolley. As soon as i saw it i knew it would be perfect for what i wanted and it was only £18!!!! It has a top so you can put things on it and there is a drawer and two shelves. It has taken me a while to get it set up and working but i’m so in love with it!
The main thing i wanted when i brought this trolley was to have something that i can keep all my stuff on that i can transport to my desk when i am planning. I currently keep all of my planners on my desk and my “most used” washi tapes, however i needed somewhere that i could keep all my other big and not so used items. When i saw the trolley i fell in love as it could suite all of my needs.
On top on the trolley is a removable plastic tray topper thing (excuse my terrible describing) This is amazing because you can use it as a table top. I currently keep my laminator and paper cutter. I love this feature because i can actually stand up and use the laminator and paper cutter on the top as its the perfect height.
Attached to the top of the trolley is an option for you to have three plastic cups. I loved this idea as i could store all my pens and writing supplies in them. In the first cup i have all my most used pens that i use in my planner. For example my papermate flairs and sharpies. In the next cup i have things like scissors, hole punches and crafting knifes. In the last cup i have lots of different pens that i have tried but not loved so much or that i use for craft projects rather than planning.
The next thing this trolley has is a plastic tray. I currently use this to hold all my scrap paper offcuts that i can used but can still use in later projects. I always struggled finding a way to store my offcuts as they can be big and small so i am so happy that this trolley has this option.
On the first shelf i keep all my scrapbook paper books. I love having them all together so i know where they are and which books that i have. Its also handy having them there as the offcut tray is just above it and i normally make dashboards using the paper and the laminator.
On the bottom shelf i keep anything and everything. I currently have the famous Ikea boxes holding all my washi tape, three sticker expandable files holding some of my stickers that i don’t use often such as decorative and seasonal stickers, post it notes and a few cute boxes holding project life cards, list pads and future giveaway items.
I love this trolley so much because it is so versatile! You can use it in so many ways. Plus the price is not bad at all! I hope you guys liked this blog post and it has sparked ideas of ways to store your planning supplies. If you use this trolley or something similar let me know below as i would love to see them and how you organised them!

Planner peace is a phrase that constantly goes round the planner community. Some people long for planner peace however its not something i have really looked for. That was until i bought a Filofax Personal Finsbury in Emerald Green.
Coming across this Filofax was really by chance, I was doing my normal scrolling through the planner pages when i came across a for sale post. When i saw the picture of this Filofax i fell in love! I have never seen a Green Finsbury before. I actually own a Raspberry Finsbury and i love it so i decided to go ahead and buy the Green Finsbury. In total i paid £27.30 which was an amazing price seeing as i have never seen a Finsbury in this colour before.
When the Filofax arrived it was even more beautiful then it looked in the pictures. The colour is so vibrant and unusual. However one thing i did notice that this Finsbury is not as soft as my Raspberry Findbury, which was a little disappointing but the colour completely made up for that.
I have used this Filofax non stop since it arrived and i cannot see me moving out of it anytime soon! However you all know me so only time can tell hehe. Anyway i hope you enjoyed seeing this Filofax and listening to me ramble on. I would love to know if you have seen this Filofax and if you have any opinions on it!
Gosh! What a year, i would like to thank everyone who has read, followed and liked my blog over the past year. I have had so much fun and i have defiantly found my passion. As a thank you for reading my blog i will be hosting a giveaway over the next few weeks. I am still going through the details however there will be a blog post up when the giveaway goes live.
I would like to apologies for their being no blog post’s lately, My life has just got a little crazy as i have now finished college and working full time so it has taken a bit of adjustment. I am now calming down so i am hoping to get back into my blog and post at least once a week, aiming for two blog posts a week.
I have wanted to do a plan with me post ever since i started this blog but i have never known how to do one or lay out out. Today i thought i would bite the bullet and just see how it goes.
The week that i am planing is the week beginning the 30th of April to the 5th of June. I have used the Orange Zest Personal Weekly kit from It’s Only Me Caralee on Etsy. This week is a very busy yet plain week due to the fact that i am working all week, however i love the way this week turned out. The sticker kit is so lovely to use as the colours worked together so nicely. If you would like to purchase this kit then i will leave a link HERE. You can also get 10% off any order with It’s Only Me Caralee by using the discount code ZOEA10.
I hope you have enjoyed this blog post. I know it is something a little different so i would love to hear your opinions in the comments below.
If you are a follower of my blog, you will know that i was recently chosen to be apart of a design team for the Etsy shop It’s Only Me Caralee. I am so honoured to be a part of this team and cannot wait to get started!
Today i received my very first package from Caralee. I filmed a little unboxing on my YouTube channel. If you would like to see that click HERE. Anyway i decided that i would show off the stickers in my package in a little more detail here on my blog.
The first sticker that i received in my design team package was these colourful pay day stickers. I love these stickers due to the variety of colours that they come in. I am a bright planner girl so almost all of my spreads are colourful. This means that these stickers will work perfectly with any spread that i do. The cost of this sticker sheet is £1.75
The next sticker sheet that i received was some heart check list’s. Again the colours are lovely. These check lists peel so easily off the paper which i LOVE. They don’t fit perfectly in my personal inserts, however i normally chop my checklists down a little bit so they fit so it is not a problem. The cost of this sticker sheet is £1
The last sticker sheet that i received was a brand new release from Caralee’s shop. It is a personal weekly kit. I am obsessed with this kit! I have never seen a personal weekly kit before and i am so glad that she has brought one out! I’m always jealous of the beautiful weekly kits that people use in their Erin Condron planners so i am extremely happy that i can now do something similar. In this kit you get two washi strips that fit perfectly along the sides of the page where you hole punch. However Caralee has not put the hole punches in the strips so you can use these anywhere on the weekly spread which i love! You also get 6 page flags and 8 mini page flags that you can use as check boxes or to mark little events. In this kit you also get 6 to do headers, 6 work headers and 3 important headers. The headers fit lovely in the personal spread. You also get 12 icon stickers plus 2 habit trackers, 4 circle stickers,2 decorative stickers and a weekend banner. I LOVE this kit! The colours are so summery and its so unique! I really hope that Caralee brings out more of these kits in lots of different colours and patterns! Finally the cost of this sticker sheet is £3.
I hope you have enjoyed this blog post. I am so excited to share other amazing things during my time on the design team. If you have liked the look of any of the stickers mentioned or stickers in Caralee’s shop, you can use ZOEA10 for 10% off your order.
Lately, i have found that i spend hours on Etsy looking at beautiful stickers for my planner. My current basket has 45 items in there! #NotKidding. Anyway i decided that i would treat myself, due to some exciting things happening in my personal life, so i orderd some stickers from Small Stuff Creations.
Small Stuff Creations is a lovely shop on etsy that sells TINY cute stickers for planners. The price of her sticker sheets are 80p plus 80p postage. I think this is an amazing value! I orderd 11 sheets of stickers and altogether i paid £9.60 including postage.
The stickers arrived in a small paper envelope. The stickers are then in a pink little bag which is pictured below. The envelope was sent second class. I ordered these stickers on Sunday, i got a shipped notification on Tuesday and they arrived on Wednesday (today) so that was super quick shipping.
The stickers that i orderd were:
When the stickers arrived i loved how bright they are. With all of the stickers available in the shop you can choose to either have them in bright colours or pastel colours. From the pictures above you really cannot tell how small these stickers are. According to the information box for the stickers they are 0.8cm small. I am not going to lie, when they arrived i was taken back on how small the stickers looked. However comparing them to my personal Filofax inserts, they look an amazing size! They are not too small, but big enough to fit a few things in a box on busy days. I thought the best way to show you the size of the stickers is to do a comparison photo of the stickers next to a sheet of stickers from DaisyDuster Designs.
As you can tell by this photo they really are tiny! however they are so cute. I think these would be perfect for a personal and pocket Filofax planner!
I really like these stickers, they are lovely and bright and are also so easy to peel off which i LOVE! Nothing worse then a sticker not coming of the sheet easily! I would 100% recommend these stickers to anyone who has a smaller sized planner.
I hope you enjoyed this blog post! I apologies that i have been MIA for the past few weeks. I have had a few big changes in my personal life that i had to adapt to. I am now all up to date with this blog so hopefully i can post consistently again!
As some of you know, i received a Filofax Original Nude in a swap that i did a few weeks ago. When i was on Facebook, i got a question asking me if its a nice as what people make out. I was really skeptical at first as i have never really like the Originals, however it looked lovely so i wanted to give it ago.
Filofax Originals retail around £65 brand new, however if you are on planner group’s on Facebook you may mind a pre-loved one a little bit cheaper. The Original that i own is the personal nude. However Filofax offers the originals in all sizes and loads of different colours.
The outside of the Original is thick cow leather with a patent finish. The feel of this Filofax is AMAZING! It feels so nice to the touch. This Filofax is the floppiest Filofax that i own. When ever i saw an original before, the floppiness really put me off. I didn’t think that i would like it as i am use to having stiff Filofax’s. However, I LOVE IT!!!! I love the floppiness. It’s just so nice to hold and use. I think i want another one already!
The inside of the Original is the same as external leather with patent finish and visible reverse of external leather. The Original has two card pockets, one vertical slip pocket, two elastic pen loops, one multi-functional elastic holder. There is also a slip pocket at the back for a paperpad. If there is one thing that i dislike about this Filofax it would be the elastic holder pen loop thing on the inside of the Filofax. In my 100% honest opinion, i don’t actually know why it is there. I have no idea what i would use it for. The left pen loop is a normal sized pen loop, however the right pen loop is ridiculously small!! I couldn’t even fit my really slim ebay pen in there!
My most favorite thing about this Filofax is the closure. The closure is made of a leather strap with a branded popper and colour coordinated gel button. I think this is really cool touch to the Filofax. None of the other Filofax’s that i own have this detail on the front so im really liking it.
All in all i love this Filofax. I would defiantly recommend this to anyone who is thinking about buying one! It is so stylish and elegant it would really go with anything! You could also use this as a business planner if that is something that you do. Please let me know what you think and if you have one.
Oh my goodness! – can you believe it? Out of loads of applications and I was one of six people chosen to become a member of the Its Only Me Caralee designs team! I’m so excited, surprised and honoured that I was chosen. This is going to be an amazing opportunity for me and this blog so stay tuned!
For the next 6 months I’ll be working with Caralee and the rest of the lovely Designs Team members to write blog posts, film YouTube videos and take Instagram photos of items we receive and how we use them. It’s going to be super exciting! Make sure that you are following me and everyone else in the image above on Instagram so you can keep up to date with our posts!
I hope you are all excited for the upcoming blog posts! I would like to thank Caralee for giving me this opportunity. I cannot wait to get started!
I hope you all have a lovely week!
